For over 8 years, Simple Media has partnered with Texarkana-based TAC - The Arnold Companies and TACenergy on multiple digital initiatives, branding and web operations that involve the acquisition and divestiture of new brands under the main umbrella.

The Goal

The main objective for TAC - The Arnold Companies since the very beginning of our engagement was to establish a consolidated online presence between the main company and all subsidiaries, and, in addition, to build an ongoing process for acquiring and divesting brands seamlessly, while keeping websites' uptime and performance optimized.

Our Solution

Our Solution

Simple suggested building a new infrastructure based on the JAMstack web philosophy, which is predicated upon Javascript frameworks, APIs and Markup. This framework ecosystem provides a decoupled and dynamic solution that places the development team in the driver's seat, allowing us to handle large amount of changes and localization on the fly.

The web applications were built leveraging Gatsby.js, and recently re-platformed it to Next.js, connecting several pieces of technology via APIs.

The Outcome

The up-time on all website properties has been nearly 100% since 2018, the year we took over TAC's web ops, while the performance around speed and connectivity of all of TAC's website properties has been at its peak consistently.
